Actor Randeep Hooda to attend Haryana sports school's Foundation Day celebrations
Bollywood star Randeep Hooda, an ex-student of Haryana's Motilal Nehru School of Sports (MNSS) at Rai, is going to join the foundation day celebrations of Ex-Raist Association (ERA) on November 27. The annual alumni meet of the school is being coordinated by ERA president Col. Narbir Singh.

Writing to the ERA members, Col. Singh stated that it was a matter of great pleasure that Ex-Raist Randeep Hooda, who is now a noted Bollywood Star and Pride of Haryana as well as heart throb of millions amongst us, would be at Rai on 27th Nov to join celebration of ERA's foundation day. Hooda would spend the day interacting with present Raists and all alumni at the celebrations.

Randeep Hooda, who hails from Rohtak, had his schooling at MNSS and right from his school days, he was interested in theatre and performing arts. At MNSS, he was also coached in horse riding and performed well in many tournaments.

Despite being an actor now, he has kept his interest in sports alive and continues to be a professional equestrian who regularly participates in polo, show jumping and dressage events.

Being a keen sports person, he had won a silver medal at an open dressage event of the Equestrian Federation of India in New Delhi. 

He began acting in school productions. Later, after higher education he initially began his career in modelling and acting in stage productions.

After some struggle, he got break through as an actor in Bollywood and got noticed as a good performer. He has received critical acclaim for his acting in some recent films.
