Woman who got her eye tattooed now risks losing eyesight; shares her trauma through Facebook post
In an experiment that went horribly wrong, a model who is a tattoo enthusiast, got her eye tattooed which could now result in her losing her eyesight.

The Canadian woman has now posted her pictures on the internet to warn the public not to try anything like that. Her pictures have now gone viral.

The woman identified as Catt Gallinger has named her Facebook post as Sclera Tattoo (Whites of the eye tattoo).

While such tattoos have been successful in the past in which the white part of the eye is changed to a completely different colour, but for Gallinger, the experiment went horribly wrong, and she has warned that this could happen to anybody who tries an eye tattoo.

She has in her post said that the artist who tattooed her used undiluted ink placed too deep, and "too much ink and not enough smaller injections," but it has not been ascertained that that is the cause of the failure of the experiment.

She also uploaded her pictures of three weeks after she got tattooed when her eye was swollen to an extent that it was completely shut. She has made it clear that her intention to share the images publicly is not to cause trouble but to "warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done."

After the procedure, she was taken to the hospital where she was on antibiotic eye drops for a week but that did not help her and instead caused her eye to swell.

The woman risks losing her eyesight permanently and as per reports is now considering legal action. Such cases have been reported in the past as well and doctors have been warning against it as in some cases, the infection can spread so badly that the whole eye would have to be removed.
