AAROHAN is an NGO that
believes in freedom through education. We focus on helping
children who live below the poverty line (on less than $1 per
day) in accessing and benefiting from State Sponsored Education.
To make this possible, we not only provide academic support to
our students but also work with their parents, larger community
and government schools so that their academic pursuit is
supported in every area of their lives. Three years on, today
Aarohan has facilitated the admission of over 600 children into
mainstream government schools and over 300 students attend
classes in Aarohan every day. We are currently running five
academic support programs and are working together with the
Malviya Nagar Girls'MCD School.
