World Ninth Largest Country – Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan the former USSR nation is the world ninth largest country in the world by land area and the world's largest landlocked country. Kazakhstan total area is 2,724,900 km2, surrounded by Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan. Kazakhstan population is around 16.6 million and population density is less than six people per square kilometre. Country's per capita income is $13,060 and the national currency is Tenge. Kazakhstan's economy is the largest economy in Central Asia and the country possesses enormous fossil fuel reserves as well as minerals and metals. According to the 2010-2011 World Economic Forum in Global Competitiveness Report Kazakhstan is ranked 72nd in the world in economic competitiveness.
