Film that earned $17,300,000 at the box office won the 32nd Academy Awards in Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Special Effects, Best Film Editing, Best Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture and Best Sound.
