Shri Guru Singh Sabha and Gurudwara Sahib have promoted inter-faith interaction in Gurgaon
The Sabha, constituted in 2000, has brought together the Hindu, Punjabi and Sikh community in relation to the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib in Gurgaon. The Shri Guru Singh Sabha and Gurudwara Sahib, which opened in in 2009, have not only celebrated the teachings and events of the great Sikh Gurus, but have also tried to redress the problems of citizens while helping the underprivileged. The Gurudwara Sahib has a community hall for Gurbani kirtan, a dedicated kitchen for social functions, dispensary and physiotherapy centre, primary school for economically deprived children, school for imparting teachings of Sikhism, computer training classes, library, and a meditation room.
