Chandraghanta is the third aspect of Maa Durga as she is worshipped on third day of Navaratri. Because she has a half moon (Chandra) in the shape of a bell (Ghanta) on her forehead, she is known as Devi Chandraghanta. Her skin color glitter like gold. She has 10 hands and has weapon in each like bow and arrow, swords etc. She is riding a lion. She is always ready to fight battles and her mesmerizing role can be read in Durga Saptashati too. The sound of bells made by her is enough to scare the mighties and cruelest of all demons. This aspect os goddess bless her devote with Strong will and confidence by eliminating all obstacle and misfortunes out of their pathway.
