Found in pools, lakes and marshes because of its attachment with mud and the muck, black-tailed godwit spends their summers in Iceland or Russia and during spine-chilling winters migrate to North India. They eat, raise and breed in Iceland only. For four months, these insects can be seen walking on the muddy lands of India.
