SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend
This traditional dish of Maharashtra is very unique in itself. Each Maharashtrian family has their own special way of preparing this sweet dish. Made with flour and stuffed with a paste of lentil and jaggery this sweet flat bread is cooked on Indian tawa (pan) until it get brown in color. It is not necessary to prepare it with same filling as people use other stuffing also like coconut, mawa etc.
