Makki ki roti and Sarson da Saag is a traditional dish of Punjab and one can witness this dish in each home of the same state most probably during winters. Makki ki roti is a Chappati which is made of corn flour whereas Saag is a green gravy of leafy veggies like Mustard leaves(sarso), Spinach, Fenugreek, Radish and Spices. These two are co-linked with each other and absence of any thing can sore the taste of the preparation. This dish is typically prepared in winters with a dollop of butter, a piece of jaggery and a glass of Namkeen Lassi.
