BJP should withdraw its support from PDP on sidelining the Interests of Jammu and should strongly oppose the decisions of the Mufti Sayeed. The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Mr ASHOK GUPTA took out a procession in Jammu City against the shelving of the multi-crore artificial lake project on River Tawi and denial of AIIMS Hospital to Jammu region by Mufti Sayeed. Ashok Gupta minced no words in criticizing Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led PDP-BJP coalitiongovernment for not taking up the issue of AIIMS for Jammu with the Union Government and yesterday's announcement of the CM to abandon prestigious artificial lake project in Jammu. His tone and tenor was particularly harsh and strong against the BJP for its stand on AIIMS for Jammu and shelving of Jammu's artificial lake project. On the issue of prestigious multi-crores artificial lake project on river Tawi which is aimed at beautification of the city of temples in order to attract the tourist and pilgrims visiting the state, Gupta said the decision of the state government is most unfortunate and condemnable. The decision is absurd when around Rs 55 crores have already been spent and the project was to be completed in March 2016," he said adding, that there is no justification for abandoning the project after spending crores of rupees and completing most of the important components of the project. While the Chief Minister showed temerity in denying Jammu the projects, the Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh and entire BJP leadership of the State seemed to have succumbed to the pressure?, he said adding that It is ironic that while the people of Jammu had expressed their utmost faith in the BJP and gave the party 25 MLAs they have in turn let down the region.
