This is the famous Kainchi temple which is located on the left hand side on Bhowali-Almora road. This beautiful temple which is surrounded by thick Pine and Oak trees, has the life size statue of Baba Neem Karauli, a Sant and devotee of Lord Hanuman. Every year in the month of June, a bhandara takes place in which people from all walks of life come and have food as a prasad.
